SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10
After weeks of leaks and rumours, South Korean tech giant, Samsung, has finally unveiled the lite variants of its popular flagships, the Galaxy Note 10 and S10. Samsung claims the 2 phones are launched during a bid to offer "access to signature Galaxy innovations including the newest camera features, S Pen, and other key tools" to more people than ever before.
Speaking at the revealing , DJ Koh, Samsung's President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, said, The Galaxy S and Galaxy Note devices have met consumer wants and demands round the world. These devices represent our continuous effort to deliver industry-leading innovations, from performance and power to intelligence and services... The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note10 Lite will introduce those distinct key premium features that structure a Galaxy S and Galaxy Note experience.
Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S10 Lite are going to be made available in Prism White, Prism Black and Prism Blue colours, while the Galaxy Note10 Lite is out there in Aura Glow, Aura Black and Aura Red. However, the corporate hasn’t announced availability dates or the pricing of the 2 devices yet.
Specifications
Despite being lite variants of two entirely different flagships, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite do share tons of specs. The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note10 Lite bring with them edge-to-edge Infinity-O 6.7-inch displays capable of Full HD+ resolutions and a pixel density of 394 ppi.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a Snapdragon 855 processor, while the Galaxy Note 10 Lite offers Samsung’s in-house Exynos 8895 chipset. These are paired with 6/8GB+128GB RAM and storage configurations.
Keeping the lights on the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note10 Lite are massive 4,500mAh batteries which support super-fast charging.
But that’s where the similarities end. the 2 actually get differing camera setups. The S10 Lite brings a 5-megapixel f/2.4 macro lens; a 48-megapixel F2.0 fisheye lens featuring Super Steady OIS, and a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide featuring a 123-degree angle lens.
The Note Lite on the opposite hand gets a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide lens; a 12-megapixel f/1.7 fisheye lens with dual-pixel technology and OIS; and a 12-megapixel f/2.4 zoom lens (also with OIS). aside from this, the main differentiating factor between the 2 is that the presence of the S Pen on the Galaxy Note 10 Lite.
